CWNI - Certified Wireless Network Integrator
By earning the Certified Wireless Network Integrator (CWNI) credential,
network engineers and administrators demonstrate that they have
the advanced skills necessary to administer, install, configure,
and troubleshoot enterprise wireless network systems. Some of the
skills that will be tested above and beyond advanced levels of the
subject areas covered on the CWNA exam are WLAN switching, and
indoor/outdoor Enterprise wireless design & deployment. The main
focus of CWNI is for the test candidate to be skilled in
transitioning independent wired and wireless networks into a
single cohesive unit that supports seamless connectivity,
acceptable user experiences, strong security, flexible mobility,
and a wide range of application support.
Prerequisites: A solid understanding of both wireless and
wired networks is essential to successfully passing the CWNI exam.
About the Certification Exam: The exam for CWNI will be available in 2004. Exam #PW0-300 will be approximately 90 questions, delivered by Prometric Testing Centers worldwide
